On the question of the responsibility of universities for achieving the results of development and continuous self-renewal of the society

50 years ago, the term " wicked " problems appeared in science. At the beginning of the XXI st century, these problems have increased the negative impact on the general state and development of society. The article attempts to rethink insidious problems and determine the conditions for their solution. For this purpose, the connection between the appearance of insidious problems and the development of science and education is considered, and the responsibility of universities for achieving the results of development and constant self-renewal of a society attacked by wicked problems is justified.
